UTSC: First-Year Chemistry Textbook (Winter 2025)
The first-year chemistry curriculum at UTSC covers key principles in general chemistry. In CHMA10, the quantum mechanical model of the atom is examined along with how the periodic table is organized. Students enrolled in CHMA11 and CHMA12 will quantitatively examine reactions and equilibria in chemical systems with an emphasis on their thermodynamic properties and chemical kinetics.
