Welcome to the Information Technology (I.T.) Division

This division oversees the sensor accuracy of the Vertical Farming project.

Meeting: Please contact the Supporting Leader, Diane, for more information about how to use Slack. We meet up on Skype every Sunday Night (7:30 pm).

    Group Objectives:

    - Ensure that software can accurately read, calibrate and record to a database sensor values in addition to evaluating the data and engaging appropriate automated response via actuators and robotics.

    - Create a communications material to present the platform to the public (Website).

    Current Progress:

    10/20/2017:

    • Raspberry Pi:
      • PH sensor = Functioning
      • Temp sensor = Functioning
      • Wifi Connectivity = Functioning (requires more testing)

    Current Goals:

Find a screen to view collected data, at the Horticulture area

Please feel free to let the I.T. division Leader know about any ways to improve this Chemwiki page. Thank you!
