    Video about the history of vertical farming and examples of urban and industrial Vertical Farms. Its about 30 min. long and most of us will be familiar with the fundamental concepts but if you skip through they have some interesting solutions such as using a Bee box, LED lights to maximize yield and a Hydro filter that converts ammonia to nitrate using magnetism/electronegativity. Exploring novel aquaponic / VF applicatons may help with brainstorming research hypothesises and system modularity. - Ryan G

    A technical paper by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations about small-scale aquaponics. It discusses some general processes involved in aquaponics, such as the nitrogen process, and topics concerning each five divisions in neatly organized chapters.- Keren P.

    The Food and Drug Association has posted on their website a "Food Code", a model that assists food control jurisdictions at all levels of government by providing them with a scientifically sound technical and legal basis for regulating the retail and food service segment of the industry (restaurants and grocery stores and institutions such as nursing homes). This model could aid in creating a sound protocol for handling the vertical garden on a daily basis.- Keren P.
