    Chemicals

    Please put into five sets of small bottles

    • 10 each -Cu, Zn, Pb, Mg and Ag strips – narrow cut, 5-7 cm long, placed in jars labeled part one. Please place them in hood on the right.
    • 10 each of small pieces (1cm x 1cm) of Cu, Zn, P , Mg and Ag placed in jars labeled part two. Please place in the hood on the left
    • 1L of each of the following
      • 0.2 M copper(II) nitrate
      • 0.2 M zinc(II) nitrate 
      • 0.2M lead(II) nitrate 
      • 0.2M magnesium nitrate 
      • 0.2 M silver nitrate 
    • 2 L of 1M sodium nitrate 

     

    Waste bottles are needed.

    Solid waste bottle is needed.
