3.1: Definitions - Books, Remixes, and TextMaps
There are three general classes of texts found in the LibreTexts: "Textbooks, "Remixes" and "Textmaps".
3.2: Building Remixing Maps
Before the OER Remixer is used, it is important to construct a Remixing Map. The gist of this map is to identify the content in the libraries?? that will map into the organization of the new remix. This requires faculty/instructional designers to explicitly peruse the Bookshelves and other OER to identify the desired content. A good place to start is the Table of Contents of your favorite textbook.
