General Weekly Meetings
-Our Division and Biochemistry will both meet every Friday from 12:30-2:00pm at the DVC Horticulture Deparment; except for holidays and finals.
-The Horticulture Club meets Wednesdays at 2:00PM in the Horticulture class room. (It is a great club to attend and they often discuss the Vertical Farming Project in their meetings. If you have a garden this club is a great place to trade seeds, cuttings and sometimes produce.) -Ryan

Lettuce wants a Ph between 5.5 and 6.5, and a PPM of 560-840
A wider range pretty tolerant plant in hydroponic conditions.

Recommend a smaller heading variety such as Tom Thumb (Lactuca sativa 'Tom Thumb' Source Source Source) This variety is small tough, and reaches maturity in about 30 days. the quick growing nature allows rapid turnaround on experiments as well as showing changes readily.
