For an adduct radical that traces it beginning back to an O‑thiocarbonyl compound, observed further reactions include atom abstraction and radical elimination. Chapter 18 contains a more general discussion of radical addition reactions, one that focuses more on the compound to which addition is occurring rather than on the radical precursor.
