    Learning Objectives
    • Start your Pi for first time
    • Connecting to UALR WiFi
    • Set up a Cron job using Linux to send an email with your IP address
    • Run Pi in headless mode using VNC

Note: This section will involve cutting and pasting some pre-written scripts that we will discuss, but you are not expected to master.  The problem is UALR has dynamic IP address assignments, which means the IP address can change every time you boot up, and you need to know the IP address in order to connect to your Pi with VNC viewer. There are no "quizzes" with this material, but you need to forward the email from your Pi with your IP address to your instructor, so we know you have succeeded.
