If a student tags an annotation on a page that is not in this chapter, their annotation and a link to the annotation will appear at the bottom of this page. If you are tagging an interactive exercise where the answer pops up, do not tag text in the answer, but the question. Also, do not highlight single words, but phrases, so someone can read the annotation and understand what it is about. This also makes it easier to find in the event the overlay hides it.
In the introduction we pointed out that chemistry is an experimental science involving experiments that involve both qualitative and quantitative data. The quantitative aspect of science means that scientific laws must be explained in mathematically understandable forms.
