Use Mathcad or another computer tool to construct rotational spectra for HCl at 100 K and 1000 K.

The Mathcad document entitled Rotational States of Carbon Monoxide can be used to study the various factors that give rise to a rotational spectrum of a polar diatomic molecule. This document can be used as a template to complete this activity. Below are the JCE citation, the Mathcad document requiring Mathcad 13 or higher (JCE personal or University subscription required), and the Acrobat file showing the details of the Mathcad document (no subscription to JCE required).
