A glycosidic link, also known as glycosidic linkage or glycosidic bond, is the two-bond link between the rings in an oligosaccharide or polysaccharide.

eg. 3: amylose
The term “glycosidic bond” is a misnomer because the glycosidic bond is not just one bond, but two bonds sharing an oxygen atom.
