WHAT YOU’LL LEARN TO DO: Evaluate the reactions of calcium using experimental data to confirm products formed; convert between units of mol, g and between substances using concepts of stoichiometry; graph class data and determine the relationship between reactants and products.
By the end of this section, you will be able to:
- Convert between units of mass, mol, and between substances using stoichiometry.
- Predict and balance a reaction of calcium.
- Utilize proper laboratory techniques.
LEARNING ACTIVITIES

The learning activities for this section include:
| Assignment | Approximate Time to Complete | Due Date |
| Read Introduction | 5 minutes | Before Lab |
|
Complete the Prelab Problems (Make sure you get this signed before you leave lab!) |
15 minutes | Before Lab |
| Complete Prelab Quiz Material will come from the lab introduction, safety, procedure, and the prelab questions. |
10 minutes | Before Lab |
| Complete Lab Handout | Varies | Due at the Next Lab Meeting |
