A: Water Analysis
You are provided with a sample of the liquid found in the woman’s lungs and you will need to identify the source: river water, seawater, bath water or swimming pool water? This is done here by determining:
- Anions by ion chromatography
- Phosphates by UV-Vis spectroscopy
- Cations by flame emission spectrometry.
Results from the lung water will be compared with water samples of known origin.
