Your final step this week is to create a mind map representing the basic elements of your novel. Using the information provided in session 1, "Keys to Understanding Fiction," identify the following elements of your novel:

    A.  Major and minor characters: identify by name and label each as major or minor characters

    B.  Protagonist and Antagonist: identify by name and label

    C.  Setting - at least TWO specific details/example/quotes from your novel

    D.  Conflicts- at least TWO specific details/example/quotes from your novel

    E.  Theme- at least TWO specific details/example/quotes from your novel

Then create a mind map in Google Docs Drawing (like in Session 2 when creating your Character Analysis) that represents your novel and all these critical elements. Your mind map, at a minimum, should look something like this:

You can use the Google template provided below (just save as a copy), create your own using Google Drawing or another tool.
