Beer's Law Lab Report Links
Google Sheet Template: this link makes a copy of the lab template that you use to develop your Google Lab Workbook
Google Form: for registering your workbook with your instructor
Tasks
This list outlines the tasks in submitting your report for experiment <<<add link
- Click the Google Sheet Template and make a copy. This will be your workbook and it will pull data from the Class Data Sheet.
- Give you instructor full edit access by turning on link sharing and changing to editor (section 5 Google Workbook Basics)
- Submit the URL of your workbook to your instructor using the form
- Fill out the fields in the workbook. Orange ones are for data and calculated values that were calculated in previous tabs, blue are for calculated values being done on a specific sheet (tab).
- Once completed convert your entire Workbook to a PDF (not just the coverpage).
- Upload the PDF version of the entire workbook to the ADAPT system before the lab deadline using the File Submission Form below
Note
Self Check before turning in Lab Report
- Did I use the correct Molarity concentrations for the Beer's Law plot?
- Did I include any absorbance data points that are less than 0.05 in the order of reaction plots?
- Do I have the correct x axis for first and second order plots?
- Do all of my graphs have labels for the axes? Do any of them need units?
- Which graphs need trendlines and equations?
- Do my concentrations have the appropriate number of sig figs?
