Important Reminders
H5P does not provide an option to include a correctly structured heading or separate instructions for the activity. The activity may be usable if an accessible list of the labels associated with each drop zone is included for users of screen reading software. If the activity uses only one (1) drop zone, in the Drag and Drop text overrides and translations, change the Dropzone prefix to describe the drop zone (for example, "Milkshake glass to drop items").
Use workarounds and best practices for content authoring, including:
- Add a unique label for the activity on the page outside of the H5P content
- Add instructions for questions on the page outside of the H5P content
- Add alt-text descriptions up to 150 characters for meaningful images
- Use good color contrast for meaningful visual information in images.
Users who require magnification up to 400% may require a alternative version of the content. Users of screen reading software may require an alternative version of the activity.
Visible Indication of Focus
The activity buttons, draggable items, and drop zones have a visible indication of focus.
Color Contrast
The visible indication of focus has good contrast. The visible indication of focus is a thin black line. Users who require a visible indication of focus with more contrast may use assistive technology.
Keyboard Usability
The activity is usable with the keyboard.
No Keyboard Traps
There are no keyboard traps.
Magnification
Content magnifies up to 200% using browser settings without loss of content or functionality. The draggable elements may not magnify up to 400%.
An alternative version of the activity should be included that supports magnification up to 400% without requiring horizontal scrolling to view content and interact with content.
Usability with Screen Reading Software
The activity is not usable with screen reading software. H5P does not include the label for each drop zone as part of the information announced with screen reading software when users review the location of dropped items.
