Overall Usability
Usable with Workarounds:
- The activity requires significant adjustments by content authors.
Important Reminders
Content authors must update the Text overrides and translations for the Audio options to include the activity name. The activity name will become part of the visible text label for the activity buttons.
Users who require good color contrast may need to be provided with an alternative activity.
Users who require magnification up to 400% may need to be provided with an alternative activity.
Visible Indication of Focus
The activity and media player buttons have a visible indication of focus.
Color Contrast
The visible indication of focus does not have good contrast. Most of the activity and media player buttons have visible indication of focus with poor color contrast. Some of the buttons, button text, and status messages do not have good color contrast.
Keyboard Usability
The activity is usable with the keyboard.
No Keyboard Traps
There are no keyboard traps.
Magnification
Content magnifies up to 200% using browser settings without loss of content or functionality. Longer activity labels used in the Text overrides and translations are obscured when content is magnified up to 400%. Use labels with a maximum of 18 characters.
Usability with Screen Reading Software
The activity is usable with screen reading software. H5P does not provide an option to include a unique descriptive label for the activity and the buttons, other than by changing the text labels for all the buttons. Content authors must add the activity name, such as Exercise 1, to all the Text overrides and translations for the Audio options. However, H5P does not provide an option to include unique descriptive labels for the media player after a recording has been made.
