WRITING AND DEVELOPING your QAHS set:

Using Microsoft Word, type your question (Q), answer (A), hint (H), and solution (S) set with the following considerations:

    QUESTION (Q)

    • Question numbers should be formatted as follows:
      • Q, then chapter number, then period, then question number from assigned textbook, then your Identifier.
        • For example, question #20 from chapter 2 in a textbook for an assistant whose Identifier is "BB2" would be: Q2.20BB2.
    • Your question should be original (made by you), yet the topic of your question should be based on the assigned textbook source question; that is, your new question should be related to the theme of what the original question asked. Yet, any posted questions must NOT be plagiarized. Posted questions must have very different wording, different values must be used in them, or a completely new question must be written to replace the original one.
    • You may insert illustrations or pictures into your questions by clicking on the "Image" link in the editor panel. However, any illustrations or pictures inserted must be original (made by you) or must be from a LibreTexts webpage.

    ANSWER (A)

    • Answer numbers should be formatted similarly to question numbers:
      • A, then chapter number, then period, then question number from assigned textbook, then your Identifier.
        • For example, the answer to question #20 from chapter 2 for an assistant whose Identifier is "BB2" would be: A2.20BB2.
    • Your answer should be brief and should include correct significant figures/decimal places and units when necessary. In other words, answers should only include the answer, not any solution. • If your answer is best given as an image, you may insert illustrations or pictures by clicking on the "Image" link in the editor panel. However, any illustrations or pictures inserted must be original (made by you) or must be from a LibreTexts webpage.

    HINT (H)

    • Hint numbers should be formatted similarly to question numbers:
      • H, then chapter number, then period, then question number from assigned textbook, then your Identifier.
        • For example, the hint to question #20 from chapter 2 for an assistant whose Identifier is "BB2" would be: H2.20BB2.
    • Your hint should be a statement that must be linked to a CHEMWild URL. Search in LibreTexts for a page that provides the student with the information that would guide them to a solution. Copy the URL into your Word document near your HINT statement; you will link this URL to your HINT statement when you post.
