Welcome to our first of many weekly discussion boards! Discussion boards are an essential part of an online learning community as we exchange ideas, experiences, insights, and writing tips. Timely participation in a discussion (remember, there is no credit for late responses) significantly enhances your learning experience and allows you to make connections with other virtual learners. In this 30-point discussion board (graded according to the "discussion board rubric" attached), please introduce yourself to the class. Share some basic information about yourself such as your home school and perhaps what brought you to online learning. Share some "fun facts" about yourself -- bucket list goals, favorite things, important people, summer highlights, how your friends describe you, idiosyncracies, traits that make you unique, or other attention-getting details. Then upload a picture that complements the text you have added. Use the<a href="https://docs.google.com/a/jeffcoscho...it?usp=sharing"> "file" button on the left side</a> of the discussion post box to upload a picture. Let's see just how engaging this discussion can be! I know you all have a lot to share, so your entry should be around 100-150 words. Remember to proofread and use standard English. Discussion boards are not the place to lapse into text language. Finally, respond to at least two of your peers at different times in the next few days.
