Substances such a bromomethane (\(\ce{CH_3Br}\)) and chloroethene (\(\ce{CH_2=CHCl}\)), are examples of organohalogen compounds, whereas others such as the methylammonium chloride salt, which have no carbon-halogen bonds, are not.
