    Go to the Moon website. First, click on the background information and read the passage. Then, click the green play button and watch the model of the Moon rotate around the Earth. After you understand how the Sun, Moon and Earth's positions change the appearance of the Moon, answer the following question.


    1. When the Moon is between the Earth and the Sun, the Moon's phase is a/an:

    A.1st quarter moon
    B. Waxing gibbous moon
    C. New moon
    D. Full moon

     

    2. Complete the Lunar Cycle Challenge. Take a screenshot of your completion certificate. 

    3. Work through this activity. Submit your completed table and journal.
