Nucleic acids are polymers of monomers called nucleotides. Nucleotides are made of a sugar, phosphate group, and a nitrogen base. Nucleic acids contain the instructions to build proteins. DNA stores genetic information here and RNA then builds the proteins. Read more about Nucleic Acids. |
