    Week 0: Orientation and Pre-Semester Training (No Lab Meeting)

    These assignments will help you prepare for the semester and will introduce you to the course policies and structure.

    • On Canvas, find and read the Syllabus.
    • In the Lab Manual, Read the entire "Orientation" Module.
    • Read the MatLab Pre-Lab assignment.
    • Review prerequisite knowledge (see below)
    • Complete the "Orientation" assignment and turn it on Canvas.
    • Proceed to the MatLab module and complete the MatLab Pre-Lab assignment.
    • Bring your computer with you to the first meeting.

      • Computation of electronic structure
    • Specific material from college-level math pre-requisites
      • Derivatives and partial derivatives
      • Matrices and their operations

    Week 1: Introduction to MatLab for Data Analysis

    Learn how to use MatLab for data analysis in this course.
