    Read the summary presented on pages 300 and 301, and then check through the summary of reactions given on pages 301-303. In examinations, you will be asked to write a large number of equations, so you should practise by writing equations for the reactions of a variety of alkenes with each of the reagents identified in the Summary of Reactions section. Next, read the notes on the following three pages of this Study Guide about solving “Road-map Problems.” To complete your review of this unit, we suggest that you do a selection of the end-of-chapter problems on pages 305-313. When you are confident that you understand the material presented in Units 6, 7 and 8, please complete Self Test 2.
