Experiments 4, 8, 11, and 12 are from the assigned textbook, Synthesis and Technique in Inorganic Chemistry, A Laboratory Manual, Third Edition, Girolami, G. S., Rauchfuss, T. B., Angelici, R. J. 1999, University Science Books. Experiment 11 is modified to do the Independent Study A: Preparation of Cr₂(O₂CCH₃)₄·2H₂O instead of the Mo analog. Experiment 4 is heavily modified to use the aluminum analog for the borane product.
