a. Covalent: Two or more non-metals
b. Ionic: Composed of at least one cation and one anion.
3. An octet is when an atom has 8 valence electrons. An octet has all of an atom’s valence electrons paired, thus making it more stable, lower in energy, and less reactive.
5. A molecule will have a specific number of each atoms in the molecule. A formula unit have the lowest ratio of ions in the formula.
