4.05 Retaining Information: What was that? I forgot!

You learn something new every day, if you pay attention.
    ~Ray LeBlond, real-estate developer

What was the name of your first pet? What was the color of your first bicycle? What was the name of your third grade teacher? For some, this information is on the "tip of the tongue," for others this information was lost when the pet perished, the bicycle was traded for a newer model, or you got promoted to the fourth grade.

    • Why do some remember while others forget?
    • What is the difference between short term and long term memory?
    • What are some unusual types of memory?
    • How can memory be improved?

This is what you will learn in this lesson. Putting on your thinking cap and let’s get ready to remember!
