There are several different memory disorders. The one you most likely have heard of before is Alzheimer’s. Disorders of the memory can range in how severe they are but all are a result of some type of damage to the neuroanatomical structures.  These disorders can manifest themselves in  immediate memory loss or progress slowly over time.
