Students will be able to... - Select a literary non-fiction that fits all required criteria -Read first quarter of selected novel -Self-monitor comprehension, fluency, and stamina -Summarize information about selected literary non-fiction that includes alternate views, rich detail,well developed paragraphs, and lines of logic. -Synthesize information to determine the message or theme of literary non-fiction. -Use note-taking techniques to organize information for summarizing and synthesizing literary non-fiction.
