Welcome to Unit 6 Session 3!  In this session we’ll look at trends in your research, and finally start drawing some conclusions about all the great research we’ve been doing.  You’ll begin to answer the question, “Why is this person so influential in our world today?”  You’ll also create a first draft of your works cited page.

Here are a few essential questions we'll consider in this session:

    • How do I unpack the context of a task to make decisions about my writing processes?
    • What criteria do I use to critique the biases, underlying assumptions, and gaps in my research findings?
    • How do I turn my research question into a claim?
    • How do I use my evidence to support my claim and draw a conclusion?

Click to the next screen to review your specific learning targets and begin.
