    Using the attached rubric, grade your own paper.  

    For each of the seven rubric categories, grade yourself with a number from 4 to 1 (advanced proficient to unsatisfactory).  (10 of 30 points)

    Then, for each criteron, explain in a sentence or two what you noticed as you reviewed your paper and reference the specific traits described in the rubric. (20 of 30 points).

    NOTE:  It is important that you really think about your essay and give it a very fair evaluation.  If you just give yourself 100% without thinking about it - this process will not help you!  The purpose of this assignment is self reflection - not a perfect first draft.
