Phew!  You’ve been working so hard and we’ve made a ton of progress.

After you finish this session, complete this checklist of our learning objectives.

If you can answer "yes" to all these statements, then you are all set to continue.

If you answer "no" to any of these questions, refer back to this session for help.  If you have additional questions, please contact Ms. Long

    - I have read several mentor (example) research papers and from our discussion, I know what a great research paper looks like!.

    - I understand all the requirements of the research paper.

    - I know exactly what make a strong introduction to a research paper.

    - Finally, I know I have a great outline right here to help me guide my first draft!

In next week’s session, you’ll revise your research paper to make a final, polished product that you can be proud of.  We’ll consider how to use transitions and rhetorical devices as well as how to craft a powerful conclusion.
