Your next step for this session is to read the next ¼ of your book.  Refer to your reading schedule to know exactly how many pages that would be.  At the end of this session you should have read ¾ of your book (75%).

As you read this week, start looking for evidence of your author’s theme.  What’s the core idea that your author is trying to communicate?  Is this book a warning?

WORK SMARTER, not HARDER:  You'll also want to annotate your text with observations for your reader response #2 and note quotations that may be useful for your final critical lens essay (session 4 and 5). Take it from previous students: It's often easier to do this as you read rather than trying to find that evidence later.
