    Declare Your Choice!

Now that you have decided on your novel in assignment 4.12 (please make sure you do this step so I can assign you to a reading group and you don't have to see extra assignments), it’s time to join a reading discussion group.

Go to your group's discussion board by clicking through the next few pages and finding the discussion group for your novel. The discussion includes the title of the book you'll be reading.

Once there, introduce yourself to the group and explain why you chose to read that novel.

Then respond thoughtfully to at least two other members of your reading group.

Participate in ONE novel discussion board. You will be exempt from the others (and in subsequent weeks, if you've done assignment 4.12, you'll only see assignments for your particular book).
