    Can you answer "yes" to the following questions?  If so, well done! You are ready for Session 2.

    If not, go back into Session 1 and/or contact your instructor for help.

    1. Can you explain and apply the terms for short fiction?

    2.Do you know what reader response theorists believe?

    3. Do you know the kinds of questions a reader response theorist ask about a text?

    4. Do you know WHY we use reader response theory to read literature?

    5. Do you know HOW we write using reader response theory?
