Choosing to go to college is a huge step that could make a difference for the rest of your life. Congratulations in choosing to take on the challenge! In this session, we’ll focus on what it takes to create a successful college application, specifically focusing on what makes a good college essay.
Below you will find several articles about writing good college essays. Choose at least ONE to read in detail. (But you may want to read more than one--they're all great and really helpful!) As you read, take some notes that answer this question, “What does it take to write a good college essay?” Be prepared to share your tips, along with comments on specific resumes, in our class discussion. |
