In this session you’ve gained an in-depth understanding of the genre of application writing. In the next session, you’ll begin writing your own application text, EITHER a resume and cover letter OR a college application essay. You’ll want to carefully consider which genre to choose to focus on. If you’re applying for college this year, you should probably choose Session 2B, writing the college application essay. If not, you should work on Session 2A, where you’ll work on writing a resume and cover letter, genres that everyone has to write occasionally! |
