We become better writers by writing, and the writing process itself forces us to be reflective thinkers. Reflection is how we learn and internalize our new content, ideas, and frameworks. In this course, you'll do just that in a weekly journal. Earlier in the Orientation session you reviewed all things Google (you did watch the videos on that topic, right?). You'll use a single Google doc for your journal, and each week you'll add a new entry related to that week's content. You'll employ metacognition to foster better understanding. (Note: Words in green are hyperlinked to a dictionary or other resource so that you can acquire the word and concept. Be sure you check your understanding.)
