This discussion is a little different and will require more from you.

Directions & Point Breakdown:

Spell check your post before submitting and keep all posts academic. Though this is social, it is still considered a formal setting.

Your initial post is worth 1 point. You will be graded on grammar, spelling, and thoughtfulness of response. To make your response thoughtful, use the PEA Method. State your point, provide evidence to support it, and tell us why your evidence proves your point.

I expect you to reply 4 times to others. The posts can be questions, rebuttals, or thoughtful comments.

NOTE: Any additional posts will earn you extra credit for a maximum total of 5 extra credit points. This means you can bring up an assignment a full letter grade!

Posting "I agree" or a 1 sentence response will not earn your credit. You'll need to explain your thoughts thoroughly.

In addition I should see you responding on the discussion board Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Your debate will be graded according to the attached rubric.

Debate Question:

Should all Americans have the right, or be entitled, to health care?
