There are two parts to this assignment:
Part 1: You have been given the job to name a new professional athletic team.
Decide what type of sport the team plays, and then choose a name that conveys an idea about the team using connotation. Design a poster advertising your new team. Your poster must include:
• Team name logo design
• A short description of the idea you are trying to convey in the team name. 1 to 2 sentences.
Part 2: Then on a separate sheet revise the attached newspaper article about the winning season of your fictitious athletic team to create vivid connotative language and convey clear ideas. The reader should be able to visualize the action and feeling of the passage, and better understand the ideas you are expressing. Use a thesaurus or dictionary to help you with your word choices.
When you are done submit all items to the dropbox. If you need to submit more than one document into the dropbox that is fine. I will be able to see all documents that are submitted.
