Renewable Resources

  • Resources can be renewable or nonrenewable. Wikipedia uses this definition:

    A renewable resource is a resource which can be used repeatedly because it is replaced naturally. 

    This definition can be open to interpretation.

    Under what circumstances might trees renewable or nonrenewable? What about products from animals? Minerals are considered nonrenewable yet some minerals can be created in a lab. How would they be classified?
