Find a topographic map of your community. See this video for assistance is obtaining a map. Match up the features on the map with well known areas/landmarks. Find pictures of the areas/landmarks.
Film a screencast walking us through the topographic map and how they match up to the areas/landmarks. Be sure to talk us through the topo map. What is the scale? Explain how to read it and how to find the areas/landmarks you describe.
