What do all of the pictures to the left have in common? They are from volcanoes! Highlight the black box under each photo to reveal the name of the occurrence.

In this session, we will explore volcanoes and their productive and destructive power.

Earlier in the session, you discussed whether earthquakes could be predicted by animals. Can humans predict earthquakes?

Design an experiment to test whether humans can predict earthquakes. Submit the following:

    • Problem/Question
    • Hypothesis (if...then...because...)
    • Materials list
    • Step by step procedure list
    • Skeleton data tables with rows and columns labeled, ready to collect data
