We know the events from the Big Bang until now. Let's get a feel for when they occurred. Let's imagine that the age of the universe is 1 year old. Place the following events into the calendar:

    • The Milky Way forms
    • Our Solar System forms
    • The first signs of life on Earth
    • Dinosaurs are extinct
    • Modern humans evolve
    • Recorded history begins
    • Columbus arrives in America
