The main way that we tell where we are in the universe is by observing the motion of other objects in the universe. Some of the largest structures are galaxies. We can use their movements to determine whether the universe is changing it size and shape. In the first lab of this session, we will measure the motion of galaxies and analyze the patterns that emerge. |
