    As you go through the reading this week and in the rest of this unit, use the following technique to take notes.

    Set up a table, in the first column list important information about the phyla. In the second column, include a photo or image of representative animals from that phyla. 

    For example, for Phylum Porifera, your notes might look like this:
    Note: not all information is completed on this example, so you can fill that in.

    Common Name: sponges

    Tissues: none

    Organ/Organ systems:

    Other Details

    Body Shape: asymmetrical

    Body Support: two layers of cells
