Navagating to a Library
One can go directly to a library or a book using the URL, or use the LibreTexts Commons (https://commons.libretexts.org/libraries)
Having selected a library one comes to the front page
Although one can drill down to find any text in the library and any page in the texts by clicking on the appropriate boxes, the blue bar makes navigation much easier. Clicking on contents leads one to an expandable menu from which one can navigate to any book, chapter or page.
Now if we move off to a LibreTexts book, there are some things to note. First a light blue bar has appeared under the gray sign in bar. This shows where you are, having started from the Stats Library front page, selected the Campus Bookshelves, then the CUNY area, and finally the book, Introductory Statistics with Probability. You can rapidly move up the hierarchy by clicking on any of these. The three lines at the left hand end of the bar are a tab which will pull down the same selection menu as the Contents tab on the far left blue bar.
The red, blue, grey, green bar at the far right also provides important functions. the pdf button will print whatever selection (book, chapter, page) you are in. The Downloads button provides access to LibreTexts' Bookstore where you can buy a printed copy of the book using Lulu.com, a just in time printer, download the Common Cartridge for linking the chapters in the book to your LMS, and there are options for generating and printing pdf files.
