Each week, you will be required to include quotations from the texts in your responses. Please make sure to format all quotations correctly in MLA style. Keep in mind that a quotations should not be its own sentence in the body of your paragraph. You need some of your own language to introduce the quotations. So, for example:

Yes – Elie Wiesel explains how indifference allows violence, stating, “Indifference is not a beginning, it is an end. And, therefore, indifference is always the friend of the enemy, for it benefits the aggressor—never his victim, whose pain is magnified when he or she feels forgotten.”

No – Elie Wiesel explains how indifference allows violence. “Indifference is not a beginning, it is an end. And, therefore, indifference is always the friend of the enemy, for it benefits the aggressor—never his victim, whose pain is magnified when he or she feels forgotten.”
