Report of Ohio State Highway Patrol Officer Patrick O. Grove.

At 8:07 pm on the evening of June 3rd I stopped a blue Chevrolet Eurosport with Ohio license plate JX3 883 for violations of Ohio traffic law. The driver, Mr. Bradley Francis Kimmer, showed signs of impairment, so I conducted several field sobriety tests. These tests confirmed the driver's impairment. I arrested Mr. Kimmer and took him into custody for a formal blood alcohol test. A blood sample was taken and submitted to the lab for analysis.

I notified DSG Ruth E. Hook, Ohio State Police, of the incident when I learned that she was investigating the death of a teenaged girl in a hit-and-run accident on the chance that Mr. Kimmer was responsible for or (possibly)a witness to the death.
