WHAT YOU’LL LEARN TO DO: Evaluate the percent composition of a metal chloride, react a metal with hydrochloric acid and use stoichiometry to determine the atomic mass of the metal used.
By the end of this section, you will be able to:
- Calculate the percent composition of a compound using experimental data.
- Use stoichiometry to convert between mass and moles.
- Calculate percent error.
